Welcome to the Institute of Mathematics!
The employees of the Institute of Mathematics conduct research on fundamental issues of applied mathematics. Through close networking with engineering, natural and economic sciences and industrial partners, the research results also radiate into practice, especially in the area of digitization for a sustainable society. In teaching, the staff make a significant contribution to the basic mathematical education of all subjects at Clausthal University of Technology, in addition to their own economics / technomathematics courses.
