Workshop: Mathematics of compressible fluids
SPP2410 Workshop: Mathematics of compressible fluids - analysis and numerics
The workshop takes place within the DFG Priority Programme 'Hyperbolic Balance Laws in Fluid Mechanics'. The aim is to bring together international experts working in the field and to foster new collaborations. There will be two mini-courses as well as several inivited research talks. More information will follow soon.
Date:23.06.25-27.06.25 (the last day can be used for possible collaborations)
Location: TU Clausthal, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany
Mini-courses:Rémi Abgrall (University of Zurich): Numerical Conservation and Its Challenges: Non-Conservative Terms, Structure-Preserving Schemes, and More
Eduard Feireisl (Czech Academy of Science, Prague): Dissipative solutions to models of inviscid fluids
Invited Speaker: Emil Wiedemann (Erlangen): Measure-valued solutions of the compressible Euler equations
Benjamin Gess (TU Berlin): Path-by-path regularization by noise for scalar conservation laws
Piotr Mucha (Warsaw): Compressible Euler System with Nonlocal Pressure
