Welcome to the homepage of the Mathematical Modeling working group!

The Mathematical Modeling working group is led by Dominic Breit and deals with nonlinear (stochastic) partial differential equations. The application-related focus is on problems from fluid mechanics, in particular compressible fluids, stochastic Navier-Stokes equations and fluid-structure interaction. On the theoretical side, we are interested in: regularity theory, calculus of variations and function spaces. Finally, we carry out numerical analysis for problems related to these topics.
